Japanese Slang めっちゃ/meccha
There is a lot of slang in Japanese! It helps you to understand Manga, Anime, etc… Have you ever heard of めっちゃ/meccha? Let’s check it out!
It means “So many” or “extreme”. This is a casual expression to exaggerate something and we often say めっちゃ in reference to mean “so many”,or “extreme”.
Here is the example sentences
- イワシ、めっちゃ多い(So many sardines are there.)
- イワシ、めっちゃめっちゃ多い(Sooooo many sardines are there. )
- イワシ、めっちゃめっちゃめーーーーちゃ多い(Soooooooooooooo many sardines are there. )
